چکیده

We investigate the correlation effects in a two-component, one-dimensional electron gas interacting via repulsive 6 function interactions. Electron correlations are treated within the approximation scheme of Singwi, Tosi, Land, and SjGlander (STLS) which yields analytical expressions for the local-field corrections. The static structure factors, pair distribution functions, collective excitation modes, and interaction energy in a two-component system are discussed. @ 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. Local Field Correction Effect on Dicluster Stopping Power in a Strongly Coupled Two-Dimensional Electron Gas System

We calculate the stopping power for heavy-ion diclusters moving in a strongly coupled two-dimensional electron gas system by using the local field corrected dielectric function at finite temperature. We obtain a parameterized local field correction factor based on a relation between the thermal compressibility and exchange-correlation energy in two-dimension. The interpolated parameter is deriv...

اثرات بس ذره‌ای در مایعات الکترونی ابعاد کم

This review article is about the role of electron-electron interactions in low dimensional systems and its transport properties in nano-structures. It begins with a review of the pair-distribution function theory of electron liquid systems taking into account the electron-electron interactions. We extend the theory for highly correlated system such two- and one-dimensional electron liquids. We...

M ar 1 99 9 Ground states of lattice gases with “ almost ” convex repulsive interactions

To our best knowledge there is only one example of a lattice system with long-range two-body interactions whose ground states have been determined exactly: the onedimensional lattice gas with purely repulsive and strictly convex interactions. Its ground-state particle configurations do not depend on the rate of decay of the interactions and are known as the generalized Wigner lattices or the mo...

3 Ground state of one - dimensional bosons with delta interaction : link to the BCS model

We have found that the Bethe roots describing the ground state of the integrable one-dimensional model of interacting bosons with weakly repulsive two-body delta interactions satisfy the set of equations appearing in the strong coupling limit of the integrable BCS model. The BCS model describes electron-electron interactions in weakly disordered metallic grains. It follows that the Bethe roots ...

Exact calculation of the phase properties of one dimensional finite lattice gas systems

The small-size partially filled one-dimensional (1D) lattice gas system with 1/r repulsive interactions is numerically studied. Our results indicate that phase change with vacancy ordering involved exists in the partially filled 1D lattice gas systems, and the phase properties of the studied system strongly depend on the occupancy nav and the interaction strength δ. Most interestingly, it is fo...
